This is my first "mega-panorama" made from 37 individual shots. It was a rather misty morning, but I managed to get quite clear shot.

This is a back road connecting the towns of Lightstreet and Buckhorn Pennsylvania. I like the way the shot came out. This is actually a curving 90 degree turn in the road exaggerated by the panorama. [link]

[edit 2009-09-28] This won 1st place in the Landscape division -and- Best in Category at the 2009 Bloomsburg Fair. :D

[edit 2011-01-01] I was asked to put together a tutorial on panoramic shots. Here is a link to it. [Tutorial]

Thanks. The area is completely changed. This shot definitely captured a moment in time that is gone.

Thanks so much. The little lens distortion, which is usually something to avoid, only added to the shot.

This is amazing! I love how you included the tutorial AND a link to a map of the turn.

Thanks. It's true what they say about timing is everything. The same area today looks totally different. There was severe flooding this fall, added to the terraforming that is being done to create a man-made lake nearby, and you get a completely changed look. I'm not even sure if I could stand where I did for this photo. I should do a follow up, encouraging everyone to "stop and take the picture when they see it." It might not be there when you come back.
